Taste the world in Paris

Even though Paris is a lovers’ city, love may fill your heart, not your stomach. Hence, we are about to serve you a list of the best restaurants and dining experiences in Paris. If you are a picky eater or a gourmet, either way, your taste buds will make you behave like Kim Kardashian and book a flight to Paris just to try your new favourite food again. In this case, it won’t be a slice of cheesecake that will make you come back, but one of the restaurants from our list.

Mamma Mia!

You couldn’t decide between a trip to Paris and Naples? Then we have the best solution for you. It has never been easier to enjoy the atmosphere of Paris while enjoying Neapolitan pizza at the same time with the existence of the best Italian pizzeria in Paris called East Mamma.

With the first step in this establishment, you will be taken directly to Italy, welcomed in Italian by the front door, smelling fresh pizza slowly being baked in the wood-fired oven and accompanied to your table listening to Italian classical music with the background of Italian chatter of the chefs and waiting staff. The menu is simple, yet exquisite. You don’t need 10 minutes to read pages of the pizza and pasta, as there are a few, but great, items on the menu. The dishes are often changed to provide the best selection of Italian food at all times.

The simpler the better, could be a motto of East Mamma. Only fresh ingredients and techniques directly from Naples are the secret recipe that makes the food exceptional and truly authentic. Not to mention the desserts, whose taste is extremely addictive and their tiramisu is to die for.

Topped with the great service and nice wine, East Mamma is a 10/10.

Make sure to find this piece of Italy at 133 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Antoine.

All you can eat sushi

The place where quantity meets quality. You do not need to pay a fortune to try different Japanese dishes. The prices for ‘all you can eat’ differ during the day and in the evening, however, it doesn’t go over 20 EUR.

In the case of Yokohama Sushi à Volonté, the old saying ‘don’t judge a book by its cover’ applies here big time. However, once again, simplicity is the key and when you step into this small establishment with only a few tables, get ready to be amazed very quickly. The cosy atmosphere, authentic but simple decoration and quick service will make you feel like a guest in your friend’s family house.

The ordering system is quite simple, as all the dishes are numbered, so for those of you whose tongue is breaking while trying to pronounce different names of their dishes, don’t panic, the only thing you need to say is the dish number.

You are able to try as many dishes as your heart desires - from fried rice, different kinds of sushi, marinated or fried meat, tofu, fries, dumplings to Japanese desserts.

Make sure you don’t make the same mistake as we did, and come here after only a light breakfast, so your eyes are not bigger than your stomach. Once you try their famous ‘boeuf au fromage’, your appetite will grow instantly. Even if you prefer plant plant-based diet, here, they have you covered. With a big selection of fresh dishes, Yokhama Sushi à volonté deserves a place on our list. Don’t miss out on an opportunity to visit this little underrated restaurant when you are around: 24 Rue Saint-Lazare.

Immersive dining

Did you know that you can dine underwater, in the jungle and right in between stars in Paris? At least that is the concept of the immersive venues created by Ephemera. In these restaurants, food is not the main reason for a visit, even though its quality and presentation are exceptional. It is usually extremely difficult to keep the quality of dishes and drinks high when the main teaser is the extraordinary experience of the place’s interior. However, all the restaurants created by Ephemera served without a doubt.

We are talking about three immersive restaurants with different vibes and themes. The only advice to keep in mind is to book a table as soon as possible, since the spots are running out quickly!

Get your towels ready, we are going Under the Sea. That is the name of the first restaurant, with the ocean theme. You are walking in a blue-lit, submarine-looking place, where your eyes are fed as well as your tummy. The sea life surrounds you from all angles as the walls and ceiling glow with 360° projections of waves, coral reefs, jellyfish, and underwater life. The menu is inspired by the marine life so you can expect mostly seafood and light dishes which taste even better with ocean-themed cocktails. Park your boat at 160 Avenue de France and get ready to be stunned.

Buckle up, space enthusiasts, your rocket is heading to Stellar. This intergalactic restaurant launches you into orbit the moment you step through the door. Surrounded by galaxies, comets, and planets moving around the tables, it feels like dining in a NASA dream. You can expect star-powered dishes from across the universe like sweet-sour prawns, yassa chicken, Middle Eastern salmon and burgers, together with cocktails that look like they were shaken in zero gravity. Move yourself over to 45 Rue Saint-Sébastien and  prepare for lift-off.

Equip yourself with a camera to capture the wildlife in the Jungle Palace. With the sound of nature coming from the speakers and plants almost touching your face as you enjoy being watched by a giant elephant, you find yourself taken away from city life. The visual effects around you are changing the setup from the jungle to a magical forest filled with subtle beauty. The menu is offering jungle-inspired cuisine such as a rare steak which evokes tears of a tiger or natural-looking dishes full of rich taste and simple recipes appealing not only visually. Keep in mind not to panic if you hear the roar at 12 Rue de la Fidélité.
